Iron Moses Having A Book

Description

This statue is an iron replica of "Moses Holding the Tablets." Depicted with a flowing beard and powerful physique, Moses holds the tablets of the Law in his left arm while grasping his beard with his right hand in a contemplative pose. The small horn-like projections on his head reflect the traditional depiction of Moses with "horns," derived from a mistranslation in the Latin Vulgate Bible.
