Description

In "Corrida," Buckley MacGurrin painted a matador, captured in mid-motion, who seems both challenging and fleeing. He doesn't face the bull head-on, but runs almost parallel to it, as if drawn by the same arc: his body tenses, his arms raised, at an almost impossible angle.
