Brass Annunciation

Description

The strength of this sculpture lies in the fusion of emotion and form. Though the kneeling posture appears still, the upward tilt of the head, the closed eyes, and the hands clutching the chest together express an internal surge of emotion turned outward in a profoundly human gesture.
