Pink materials after moving a project often indicate missing image files. Check resource paths before changing lights or shader values.
Absolute paths point to a particular disk location that may not exist on another computer. Relative paths are more portable when the folder structure is preserved.
File → External Data → Find Missing Files can reconnect images in a chosen directory. Review the result when different texture sets contain identical filenames.
Pack Resources embeds supported resources into the .blend. Save and reopen the file to check the result. Linked libraries, image sequences, simulation caches and fonts may require separate handling.
Keep an organized source project for your own archive. When handing a scene to somebody else, identify the dependencies they actually need instead of copying unrelated project folders.
